Triumph signs 33m CEVA deal

Date Posted: 14/07/2010

Triumph Motorcycles has signed a three-year contract with Ceva Logistics worth 11 million euros (£9 million) per annum.

The British manufacturer produces some 50,000 motorcycles a year and has enlisted Ceva to streamline, integrate and optimise its international logistics flows of components, accessories and finished motorcycles.

The logistics operator will handle the ocean shipments from suppliers in Asia and Europe to Triumph’s global manufacturing network using its Ocean Plus system which is designed to manage product movement from order placement to final delivery.

The software is also scalable in line with Triumph’s growth plans and across multiple countries and modes of transport, allowing Ceva to combine purchase order management, vendor compliance and optimisation of programs.
