CILT approved to operate within the Qualifications Credit Framework

Date Posted: 23/11/2009

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK has become one of only 25 awarding organisations to get through the Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF) approval process so far.

Over the course of the next year its qualifications will be transferred to the QCF framework. The QCF provides more flexible routes to gaining full qualifications and enables progression to be achieved in smaller, bite-sized chunks of learning and assessment.

The framework will enable learners to select from a range of generic and specialist units, which means that training can be specific and relevant to their needs. In addition to this we can now offer employers and training providers the option to have their in-house training accredited and awarded on the QCF.
