Are you planning a move to Windows 7?

Date Posted: 15/04/2010

A new survey shows that businesses are increasingly planning their move to Windows 7, with more than half of those questioned intending to have at least some machines running the new operating system by the end of the year.

The enthusiasm is reported as comparing favourably not only with the early response to Vista , but also show that businesses have become more bullish on Windows 7 than they were nine months ago. Windows Vice President Brad Brooks said in a recent interview that he is starting to see signs that small businesses want Windows 7.

Some concerns about Windows 7 remain but these have waned, with the remaining issues having to do with External issues, such as application compatibility. Declining support for XP is being to creep into the list of concerns for IT managers.
