Working together to reduce emissions and improve efficiency, both 3663 and ISS Facility Services Healthcare are joint winners of the Green Business Award for Partnership 2011.

Success for 3663 came with recognition for its partnership with Elior. The Green Business Award celebrates excellence in green practice, strategy and products. They seek out and scrutinise the most innovative, ambitious and effective initiatives by UK businesses for achieving environmental sustainability and implementing smart business practice. They are the UK’s most comprehensive awards on the subject.

One of the highlighted strategies was 3663’s waste oil recycling scheme that involves collection from customers of used kitchen oil, which is then processed and converted into bio-diesel. The bio-diesel is used to power 90% of 3663’s fleet of delivery vehicles.

3663 also announced that 3663 Catering Equipment has retained the prestigious Investors in Excellence certification for another two years. The comprehensive assessment involves ten key measurement areas, including categories such as the involvement of people, leadership, responsibility and integrity.
